Your journey
What you will master
The classic Noorani Qaida path: seventeen short lessons that take you from the alphabet to reading from the muṣḥaf. No prior knowledge at all.
The letters: alone, joined, and the muqaṭṭaʿāt
You learn each letter on its own from its correct articulation point, then how letters join in writing, then the opening letters of the sūrahs.
Ḥarakāt and tanwīn
Fatḥah, kasrah and ḍammah, then tanwīn and the standing ḥarakāt, with exercises until your tongue answers without thinking.
Madd and līn letters
The letters of elongation and the soft letters, drilled together with everything before them until syllables read as one breath.
Sukūn and shaddah
The resting letter and the doubled letter, then the harder combinations of shaddah with sukūn and madd, step by step.
Reading from the muṣḥaf
The final lesson applies nūn sākinah, mīm sākinah and the stopping rules on real verses: you finish the Qaida reading from the Qur'an itself.
